App Inventor Project Purpose and Summary

I created Mr. Hartzler's 'Stache Mash because I wanted to create a sequel to Mr. Hartzler's Country Music Maze.

When the user first opens the game, he/she is presented with an intro screen with an image of Mr. Hartzler without a mustache. There is text that states: "Oh No, I’ve lost my mustache! Tap the moving mustache 15 times to get it back!", as well as a sound of Mr. Hartzler saying the same line. When a user is ready to begin the game, he/she touches the red start button, and the game immediately begins.

When the actual game starts, the user is immediately presented with a rapidly moving mustache, as well as a restart button. When the user touches the mustache for the first time, the former text changes to "Taps: x", with x being the number of times the user has tapped the mustache. Once x (and therefore taps)=15, the game transitions to its final screen.

On the final screen, the user is presented with an image of Mr. Hartzler with the mustache the user has previously taps placed on his face. The former "Taps" text box is changed to say "Thank You for getting my mustache back! To play again press the Restart Button. Your Score is: x". Sound also plays of Mr. Hartzler saying this line. In this case, x is the user's final score, which is calculated by using the time that the user takes to complete the game, with the higher the score, the better.
